Cade<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Municipal law has evolved in BC to become very &#8220;municipality&#8221; friendly. Municipalities have tremendous powers, especially when it comes to zoning regulation, and Courts will not interfere with municipal decisions unless the decision is way off base.<\/p>\n<p>And so with short term rentals. The municipal injunction power is statutory and equitable principles don&#8217;t apply. The matter will be decided on straight bylaw interpretation rules.
