Check out this post about guns in the workplace (parking lot) and this post. Other than if you were a police person or some other law enforcement type, I can’t possibly imagine what reason you could have for bringing a gun to your workplace much less the shopping mall, even if you were leaving it in the parking lot in your car (where someone could steal it). Gunga Din only had a horn and look at all that he accomplished.

Maybe it’s like having your “blanky” with you all day? Maybe there are some really big bears in the parking lot that like to eat employees? Maybe people don’t have room to store these things in their houses? Maybe we all are really part of one big well armed militia and we just didn’t realize it? Maybe you need the protection of a such a device (here I’ll just shoot through that crowd of people to stop that guy from stealing a bunch of bananas)?
