[66]         Clearly, these blockades are an assault on the rule of law and the democratic institutions in our country that the Canadian public relies upon in terms of promoting the safe and orderly conduct of our lives, both personal and business, in Canada. It is clear to me that these protesters simply have no regard whatsoever to the harms they have caused and continue to cause to their fellow citizens.
